This exhibition shows paintings whose inspiration comes from three places :
The first where I live and work – the Atlantic coast of the Vendée and Charente
And the second and third, where I lived years ago and have more recently revisited and made drawings.
These paintings are the result.
Dartmoor, Devon, 1962 to 1965, Royal Naval College, Dartmouth. Revisited March 2006
The New Forest, 1980 to 1989, the period before moving to France. Revisited May 2007
The Atlantic coast, 1989 to present.
Cette exposition comporte des oeuvres dont l’inspiration vient de trois endroits :
Le premier : où j’habite et travaille – la côte atlantique - la Vendée et La Charente ;
Le deuxième et le troisième : où j’habitais il y a longtemps et où j’ai récemment retracé mon chemin et en ai fa
